On Thursday October 22nd 2009 car enthusiasts, press and select community members were treated to an evening of on hands on time with Forza 3, a presentation from Korey Krauskopf lead producer and a question and answer period.

Korey’s presentation consisted of talking about some the new features of the game and he said the inspiration for Forza 3 was to turn car lovers into gamers and gamers into car lovers. This was a key phrase we heard a lot that evening.

Key Features:

  • Over 400 Cars
  • Over 100 tracks
  • Rewind
  • My Store Front

Korey also mentioned that we only have split screen co-op in Forza 3 because of the programmers came in on a weekend and spent close to 30 hours to get it to run at 60 frames per second.

He also went on to mention that they will be doing downloadable content for cars but still haven’t decided if they will do DLC for tracks as it’s a very costly process. It can take anywhere from 3-4 months to get a track ready for everyone to play on Xbox Live. As Canada is such a diverse country and Montreal will be back on the F1 circuit next year could we see the Montreal track in Forza 3? Let’s hope.
