Valve officially unveiled som details about the the new upcoming DLC for the popular zombie killing franchise. The Sacrifice tels the story of how the original survivors end up in New Orleans and meet with the survivors of the sequel. As we all know, Bill ultimately dies according to "The Passing" but in the end, the player decide who dies when playing it. The DLC will be compatible with both L4D and L4D2 - as an added bonus, L4D2 players will get the No Mercy campaign to play through.

Today the team over at Epic announced that the fate of Clayton Carmine, the third brother, in the upcoming “Gears of War 3” title. Last week we brought you news of Ubisoft's plans to supply a weekly free DLC item, map or weapon for Splinter Cell: Convistion... and this week Ubisoft delivers with the Proximity Mine DLC.
Proximity mines can be placed at strategic locations around the map and will auto trigger as enemies wonder by... with tech upgrades to increase the range these will become your wost nightmare or your best friend on the battle field....

Finally we have a concrete date for the new L4D2 DLC: The Passing. Mark it on your calendar folks as tomorrow...Yes April 22, 2010...Valve will finally give us what we all wanted. Sadly the PC users get it for free and 560MS Points for 360 users again which really sucks the big floppy one but what can you do?
Further to that we now have more info on the achievements.

Splinter Cell Gets Free Content

The First in a series of Free Content Thursdays happening last week with the first free DLC from Ubisoft for Splinter Cell Conviction. First Up the the MP7A1 Machine Pistol. A silenced full automatic pistol with an extended mag, a reflex sight and hollow tipped bullets.
Splinter Cell Conviction gamers will be able to juice up their Splinter Cell gaming with a metric load of free downloadable content. Weapons, skins, new Deniable Ops maps are scheduled for released every Thursday.
