Ok I wasn’t a huge fan of the first GI Joe movie, but the trailer for the second Movie looks like the have really juiced up this sequel. Channing Tatum (Duke) returns along side Ray Park (Snake Eyes) while the cast see the addition of veteran action stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Bruce Willis.
Framed for crimes against the very country that they server and protect, the G.I. Joe team is scheduled for termination and replaced by a new special forces team. The surviving team members face off against Cobra’s chameleon, Zartan, and the world leaders he has under his influence.
Set sail behind the wheel of your own ship as you begin your adventure to become the Master of the Seas. As the Captain it’s your duty to explore the islands of the Caribbean facing many of the characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies like; Blackbeard and his zombies, The French, Spanish and English fleets. For those lucky enough Jack Sparrow will make an appearance during your time at sea… Ok ok he makes an appearance for everyone.
Earning experience, coin and gems all are in a days work for these pirates. Following a series of quests from island to island will see a modest progress of coin and weapons filling the holds of your ships. Added to these are properties that can be acquired for a modest amount, or the more expensive Gem mines for those eager to get bonus upgrades for your crew.
In the early stages of the game you will find that more experienced pirates will make easy prey of your ship but fear not as you acquire more crew (friends) and access to better cannons, weapons and protection you will soon become the one looking down the scope at the juicy pickings of those less fortunate – A pirates life is a hard life you have to earn your place on the seas. I recommend you find as many friends playing this title as you can for a rapid progression towards dominance of the Caribbean.
Download the game here and should you not have any friends playing feel free to add my friend Code: E6L0Y8 for a small boost – Do this under Options (Bottom right – Wrench), then select Promo Code.
The price is right – it’s freemium model, with optional payments for quicker progression.
It’s a Disney game so it’s safe for all ages
Who doesn’t love pirates – except ninjas that is 😉

Get ready Gear heads the May car pack for Forza 4 is coming soon and it has a great line up of cars for your driving pleasure. From the super hot Hennessey Venom GT to the stoner/rocker classic, the 1977 AMC Pacer X.
The May Top Gear Car Pack features the following 10 cars:
2012 Hennessey Venom GT – The Venom GT is ambition personified. Designed to beat the Bugatti Veyron’s 0-200 mph time, the car is defined by pure, unadulterated power. The result is impressive—the Venom reaches 0-200 mph in less time than it takes your average car to reach 0-60 mph.
1977 AMC Pacer X – Wayne and Garth never had it so good (Party on Wayne, Party on Garth). With classic 70s style and a 232-cubic-inch, 3.8 litre, inline six, the Pacer X was modest on power, but its legacy lives on today. Take it for a ride in “Forza Motorsport 4,” preferably with “Bohemian Rhapsody” cranked nice and loud.
2011 Ford Transite SuperSportVan – The SuperSportVan is the latest creation in the long-standing series of Ford-built custom fans, which dates back to 1971. Designed to prove that Ford engineers know how to have fun, this version is a one-off design shown at a 2011 UK commercial vehicle show.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon – The 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is by far the most comfortable and amenity-loaded Wrangler ever. It’s grittier too, with 40 per cent more horsepower than older models, making this Jeep just as comfortable on the track as it is on the trails.
1966 Lotus Cortina – One of the first “race on Sunday, commute on Monday” factory cars, the Lotus Cortina built its reputation both on the tarmac and in folks’ daily lives. Packing 115-horsepower and weighing just over a ton, the Cortina can carry four people in relative comfort, but it’s most happy when being revved high and thrown into a corner with full gusto.
1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 – The turbo-charged Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 is a treasured piece of JDM history. The VR-4 was sold in limited numbers and its four-wheel drive, four-wheel-steering handling highlights technology that caters to a driving experience matched only by much more expensive sedans.
2012 Smart ForTwo – The uncontested winner of the “easy to park” award, the Smart ForTwo is the first micro car to be introduced in the U.S. At just 106-inches long, the ForTwo is by far the smallest production car ever made. It’s a practical, urban errand runner whose looks will always spark a conversation.
1990 Subaru Legacy RS – Putting aside its smaller, quirkier wagons and sedans, Subaru brought new game to dealerships in 1990 with the Legacy RS. More substantial in nearly every respect, the Legacy RS Turbo was the most powerful Subaru model available and still enjoys a strong following among Subie enthusiasts.
2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 – Packing a huge HEMI under its hood that makes for more than 450 horsepower, the Chrysler 300 SRT8 packs a potent combination of power and sophistication. The 300 will go hit 0-60 in under five seconds and will nail the quarter mile in less than 13 seconds. It might not be what you expect from a Chrysler these days… and that’s precisely the point.
1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII – Hand-crafted beauty and grin-widening performance define the 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII. With a 147-horsepower, six-cylinder overhead valve engine, the Healey–or “Squealy” as it was often called–delivers an exhilarating open-air ride and grippy cornering.

Sunday marks the last day of PAX where tired legs roam the show floor for the last time. Queue’s are generally the shortest on Sunday as well. It’s the last chance for 60 thousand people to see the games, play a tabletop game and most importantly the single reason we all go to PAX is to see our friends.
My Sunday plan off attack was to give the show floor a final walking and checkout Trails Evolution, Gunnar Optiks, The Witcher 2, Minecraft. I also watched people play Max Payne, Borderlands 2, Ghost Recon Future Solider which looked really good but I really didn’t want to spend my last day queuing for hours.
The first game I played was Trails and if you played the original Trails you’ll love this. The demo I got was a 3 player verus race on the same screen. The race consisted of 7 heats with points associated for winning each race but you lose points for crashes. If you somehow manage to crash which you will you’ll be automatically placed at the next checkpoint. You’ll respawn and start driving as soon as the last player goes through the checkpoint.
Next up I wandered to the Gunnar Optiks booth where I booked up a pair of the MLG Phantom Neptune glasses.
I left the show around 3pm, wandered around Boston for a bit, went bowling and called it a night.
Well…Imagine that. I go to bed and wake up to see a brand spankin new trailer for one of the biggest franchises ever has flooded the interwebs. Without further ado – I present you with God of War Ascension.
Also of note – I kinda wet myself with excitement over this. I love this series.
